Mozart Festival

The Warsaw Chamber Opera has, since 1991 – that Year of Mozart commemorated throughout the world – honoured the composer’s memory with an annual festival in his name. Presented year upon year are all the stage works by Mozart, as well as numerous oratorial, symphonic and chamber works from the rich repertoire of the genius from Salzburg, of which the selection is altered each year.

The opera programme incorporates all of his stage works, including the three da Ponte collaborations - Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte (which opens the festival this year) - as well as the two operas from Mozart's last year, La clemenza di Tito and Die Zauberflöte.

In addition to the staged works there are concerts, including concertos and symphonies on period instruments, chamber music and Mozart's great sacred choral works, including his Requiem in D minor.

Sales and reservations – Warsaw Chamber Opera Box Office,Al.Solidarnosci 76b, open daily 9.00 a.m.– 7.00 p.m.
tel.(022)831 22 40 and on the concert venue – one hour before the concert
